Behold the Other Side of Bohol.
A soulful journey that honors the classic sights — Chocolate Hills, tarsiers, and the Loboc River — then wanders into the quieter corners of the island.
Inquire about this journey
Almost everyone knows the Bohol of postcards — the Chocolate Hills, the wide-eyed tarsiers, the gentle Loboc River cruise, and the lively sands of Alona. These beloved sights deserve their fame, and we do not skip them. Yet they are only the opening chapter of the island. Beyond the familiar trail lies another Bohol of hidden waterfalls, rice terraces, firefly-lit mangrove rivers, and fishing villages that keep island time. The exact order and timing are always adjusted to the season and your own pace.
A three-day soul trip may begin with the classics at a slower pace: a morning visit to the tarsier sanctuary, a quiet walk through the Chocolate Hills viewpoint, and a late-afternoon drift along the Loboc River — not a rushed buffet cruise, but a gentle float that lets the forest settle around you. From there, the journey may turn east to the Cadapdapan Rice Terraces and Can-umantad Falls, the white shores of Anda, and the pre-colonial stories of Lamanok Island. One evening may end with a quiet firefly-watching cruise along a mangrove river.
A seven-day journey gives the classics room to breathe before weaving in the island’s quieter corners. After the tarsier sanctuary, Chocolate Hills, and Loboc River, days may unfold through Candijay’s green terraces, the hidden coves of Anda, sunrise above the fog at Alicia Panoramic Park, and a full day with the community of Pamilacan Island. The pace may be shaped by long conversations, home-cooked meals, and the simple routines of rural life.
A journey measured not by the number of attractions visited, but by the moments of peace discovered along the way.
